| ii | click ” download ” on left side. | ||||||||
| iii | click ” download Baraha Unicode 3.1 “ | ||||||||
| iv | Save Baraha IME on Desk-Top. | ||||||||
| v | Click on the above icon and run ” IME Set – up “. | ||||||||
| vi | Once this is set-up, you can see the icons | ||||||||
| ” Baraha IME ” , and ” Baraha Pad ” on desk top. | |||||||||
| 2) | For typing Telugu, etc. whenever required. | ||||||||
| i | click on the icon ” Baraha IME ” on desk top. | ||||||||
| ii | You will see at right hand bottom side | ||||||||
| ( on the Start menu line, right-side ) | |||||||||
| the default icon ” KN “ | |||||||||
| ( showing the default Language Kannada ). | |||||||||
| iii | click on this . It opens a box. | ||||||||
| iv | click on ” Language ” in the box. | ||||||||
| v | click on ” Telugu ” in the new box that shows | ||||||||

| The icon will appear as ” TE ” indicating | |||||||||

| vi | Now it is ready to type in Telugu. | ||||||||
| vii | press ” F11″ key or “F12″ key of the key-board, | ||||||||
| to alternate between Telugu Script | |||||||||

| 3) | For familiarity of keying-in in Telugu etc. | ||||||||
| ( The SIMPLEST- EVER Method ) | |||||||||
| i | For the rules of transliteration, click on ” TE “ | ||||||||
| or ” EN ” at the right bottom-side. Then on | |||||||||
| ” Help ” in the box. Then , double-click on | |||||||||
| ” Transliteration Rules “, – then on the required | |||||||||
| Language ” Telugu “, for the rules of Typing. | |||||||||
| 4) | How to give the Text of , say, a Sloka, in all the | ||||||||
| three languages – Telugu, Sanskrit ( Hindi is same ), | |||||||||
| and English – for the benefit of readers. | |||||||||
| i | click on the icon “Baraha Pad” on the DeskTop. | ||||||||
| ii | click on “Language” - then, on “Telugu.” | ||||||||
| iii | Now type the Text according to Telugu | ||||||||
| Transliteration Rules. Telugu Script will appear | |||||||||
| on the Baraha Pad. | |||||||||
| iv | Select, copy and paste ( the text which is required | ||||||||
| to be converted ) , twice below the Telugu Text. | |||||||||
| v | Select the second Telugu Text – click on “Tools “ | ||||||||
| at the top – then on ” convert” – then on the language | |||||||||
| ” Devanagari ” ( for Sanskrit & Hindi same ) | |||||||||
| vi | Select the third Telugu Text – click on “Tools ” at the | ||||||||
| top – then on ” convert” – then on the language | |||||||||

ఉగాది ( ౧౬-౦౩-౨౦౧౦ ) తెలుగు నూతన సంవత్సర శుభాకాంక్షలు !
ఈ శుభ సందర్భంలో ఆ భగవంతుడు మీ అందరికీ ఆయురారోగ్యాలు, సుఖసంతోషాలు, ముఖ్యంగా తన పరిపూర్ణానుగ్రహాన్ని ఈ సంవత్సరమంతా వర్షించాలని ప్రార్థిస్తూన్నాను.
మన వంతు ప్రయత్నంగా, కొన్ని దృఢ నిర్ణయాలు చేసుకుందాము.
(౧) నిత్యమూ భగవంతుని భక్తిభావ కుసుమాలతో పూజిద్దాం.
(౨) రోజుకు ఒక సారైనా, ఆయన అనుగ్రహం తప్ప ఏమీ కోరని ప్రార్థన చేద్దాం.
(౩) రోజూ ” నేను భారతీయుడిని / భారతీయురాలిని “ ,అనీ, ” నాది తెలుగు కుటుంబం ” అనీ స్మరించుకుందాం.
(౪) భారతీయ సంస్కృతికి అనుగుణంగా, రోజూ ఒక్క భగవద్గీతా శ్లోకాన్ని అర్థంతో సహా పారాయణ చేద్దాం.
(౫) ” లోకాః సమస్తాః సుఖినో భవన్తు ” అనిరోజుకొక సారి ఆకాంక్శిద్దాం.
(౬) తెలుగుదనానికి ప్రతీకగా రోజూ ఏదో ఒక్క తెలుగు పద్యాన్ని పైకి చదివి, మన కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు వినబడేలా చేద్దాం.
(౭) తెలుగు లిపిలోనున్న ఏదో ఒక విషయం – పత్రికో, పుస్తకమో, బ్లాగో – ఏదో ఒకటి రెండు నిమిషాల పాటు అయినా చదవటం, చదివించటం అలవాటు చేసుకుందాం.
(౮) పై విషయాలను మన దినచర్యలో భాగం చేసుకుంటే, మనం భారతీయులమని, తెలుగువారమని గుండెలమీద చేయి వేసుకుని సగర్వంగా చెప్పగలం !
(౯) రోజూ చేయటానికి వీలుపడనంత వేగవంత జీవితం గడిపేవారు మాత్రం కనీసం వారానికోసారి పాటించినా చాలు. పై విషయాలను స్పృశించకుండా, ఏ వారమూ ( week – end ) కూడా గడిచి పోకూడదు !

| మీరు ఆలోచించి, ఆచరణయోగ్యమని చేప్పిన విషయాలను, |
| ఆచరణలో పెట్టేందుకు స్వయంగా ప్రయత్నిస్తూ దారి చూపితే, |
| ఇతరులు అనుసరిస్తారు. |
| నేడు 21-02-2010 ” మాతృభాషా దినోత్సవం ” ! |
| మన తెలుగు జాతి ఒక విపత్కర పరిస్థితిని ఎదుర్కొంటోంది ! |
| తెలుగు సంస్కృతీ సాహిత్యాలంటే అసలు గౌరవమే లేని ; |
| తెలుగు సంస్కృతీ సాహిత్యాలతో అసలు పరిచయమే లేని; |
| తెలుగు పలుకులు మాట్లాడటమే ఇష్టం లేని, చేతకాని ; |
| తెలుగు అక్షరాలు వ్రాయడం, చదవడమే రానటువంటి ; |
| ” తెలుగు కుటుంబాలు “ వేగంగా పెరిగిపోతున్నాయి ! |
| ఎదుటివారు తెలుగువారే అయినాసరే, తెలుగు తప్ప |
| ఇంకేదయినా మాట్లాడే ” పరభాషా వ్యామోహం ” మన సొత్తు ! |
| ఎప్పుడైనా ఎక్కడైనా ఓ తెలుగు తేజం తళుకులీనితే, అప్పుడు |
| ” మనం కూడ తెలుగువారమే” అనే స్పృహ తెచ్చుకుంటూండే |
| నిద్రాణ జాతి మనది. |
| ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఆలోచనాపరులందరూ చెబుతున్నదేమంటే - |
| ” మాతృభాషతో సాన్నిహిత్యం ఉన్నవారే ఏ భాషలోనైనా, |
| ఏ రంగంలోనైనా రాణించ గలరు ” అని ! దీనికి తార్కాణం - |
| టంగుటూరి ప్రకాశం పంతులుగారి వంటి స్వాతంత్ర్య కాలం నాటి |
| మన న్యాయవాదులు, రాజకీయవాదులే ! |
| దేశస్వాతంత్ర్యానంతరం గత 60 సంవత్సరాలలో, |
| మారుతున్న దేశ కాల పరిస్థితులకు స్పందనగా, ఇంగ్లీషుని |
| స్వంతం చేసుకునే ఆరాటంలో, అవసరం లేకపోయినా |
| తెలుగుకు దూరం అయ్యారు రెండు తరాల తెలుగువారు ! |
| ఈ మూడో తరానికైనా, మన ప్రధాన భాషా సంస్కృతీ స్రవంతితో |
| అనుబంధం పెంచకపోతే, పూడ్చలేని నష్టం కలిగించినవార మవుతాం . |
| మాతృ నౌకతో అనుబంధాన్నిచ్చే జీవనసూత్రం |

| యాంత్రికమైన ఆలోచనలు, యాంత్రికమైన ఉచ్చారణలు గల |
| నేటి పోటీ ప్రపంచంలో- మాతృభాషతో సాన్నిహిత్యంవల్ల ఏ కొంతయినా |
| పెరిగే మౌలిక, స్వీయ, సృజనాత్మక ఆలోచనలవల్ల - |
| ఏ రంగంలోనైనా ” సాటివారిలో మేటివారుగా ” గుర్తింపు తప్పనిసరి ! |
| ” మంచిది అని గుర్తిస్తే, మనం చేయలేకపోయినా, పిల్లలచేత చేయించవచ్చు ! “ |
| వరదలలో కొట్టుకు పోతున్నవారు ఏదో ఒక ఆధారంకోసం |
| ప్రయత్నించినట్లుగా, ఏటికి ఎదురీదినట్లుగా, మనం ప్రయత్నం |
| ఆరంభించాల్సిన తరుణం ఆసన్నమైంది. కాదు కాదు; తరుణం మించిపోతోంది ! |
| ఎవరికి వారు తమ కుటూంబంలొని ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితిని |
| ఒక్క వీసమైనా మెరుగు పర్చేందుకు తాముగా చేయదగ్గ , |
| చేయదల్చుకున్న ఒక్క పనినైనా, ఈ టపాకు వ్యాఖ్య రూపంలో |
| అందిస్తే, అది ఇతరులకు ప్రోత్సాహకరంగానూ, మార్గదర్శకంగానూ |
